Why Are MS Dhoni Fans Angry?

MS Dhoni came to bat in the 19th over when CSK needed 4 runs from 8 balls. Fans were excited, hoping to see Dhoni finish the match with a six, just like his classic style.

However, Dhoni played two dot balls, and then he moved to the non-striker’s end for the final over. Mitchell Santner came to bowl the 20th over, and on his very first ball, Rachin Ravindra hit a six, securing the victory for CSK.

This disappointed Dhoni’s fans, as they wanted Thala (Dhoni) to hit the winning runs.

MS Dhoni’s fans started trolling Rachin Ravindra on social media. Many fans said he should have taken a single instead of hitting a six, allowing Dhoni to finish the match. Some even used harsh words against him.

Usually, when a team wins with a six, fans celebrate. But in this case, CSK fans were upset because they wanted Dhoni to finish the match in his signature style.

Rachin Ravindra spoke about Dhoni’s fan following and said:

“When you are focused on the match, you forget everything else. My only aim was to help my team win. But I agree, ignoring the love and reaction Dhoni gets from fans is very difficult.”

Even though Rachin helped CSK win, some Dhoni fans are still unhappy because they missed watching a classic MS Dhoni winning shot.
