There is confusion over the India vs Bangladesh cricket series scheduled for August 2025. India is supposed to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is in Bangladesh starting from 17 August. But due to current political tensions between the two countries, this tour is still not confirmed.
🏏 BCB Gave an Update
Aminul Islam, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president, said that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is still waiting for a green signal from the Indian government.
He said:
“We are in regular contact with BCCI. If permission is not given now, the series can be held later.”
He shared this after BCB’s 19th board meeting at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on 30 June.
