In Agra district of Uttar Pradesh, the Karni Sena openly challenged law and order during one of their programs. At an event called ‘Rakt Swabhiman Sammelan’ held in Kuberpur, Karni Sena workers were seen waving swords and sticks on stage. They also made angry speeches against Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Ramjilal Suman, warning him of a reply “in his own language.”
Many Karni Sena leaders displayed swords and sticks during the rally, and videos of this incident are now viral on social media. When police and administrative officers arrived at the program venue, the crowd got even angrier and started shouting slogans while waving weapons in front of the police.
It is reported that when senior officers, led by an Additional Commissioner, reached the spot, they faced heavy resistance from the crowd. Seeing the anger, the police had to step back for a while. This entire incident raised serious questions about law and order, especially since a large police force was already present there.
Why Karni Sena Is Angry
The Karni Sena’s protest was against a statement made by Rajya Sabha MP Ramjilal Suman in Parliament, which they claimed was offensive to the Kshatriya community. Suman reportedly made a controversial remark, after which many Kshatriya organizations across the state started protesting.
Allegations of Political Conspiracy
On the other side, MP Ramjilal Suman said his statement was misinterpreted. Samajwadi Party and Dalit groups also alleged that this entire issue was deliberately created for political gains and to increase caste-based tensions.
The incident in Agra has raised fresh concerns about law and order in the state. Swords being waved openly and threatening speeches made in front of the police have sparked a new political controversy.
Investigation Underway
Now, it remains to be seen how the administration takes action in this matter and what legal steps will be followed. For now, an investigation has been started, but this public show of power by Karni Sena has once again heated up the political environment in Uttar Pradesh.
