Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, where he took a holy dip at the sacred Triveni Sangam. Tight Security for PM’s Visit
In preparation for the Prime Minister’s visit, the administration strengthened security arrangements. SP Traffic Mela, Anshuman Mishra, informed that traffic was temporarily restricted on the route from Arail Ghat to VIP Ghat. However, no other diversions were implemented to avoid inconvenience to the public.
PM Modi’s Second Visit to Mahakumbh
This is PM Modi’s second visit to the Mahakumbh. Earlier, on December 13, 2024, he visited Prayagraj and inaugurated 167 development projects worth ₹5,500 crores. These projects aim to improve facilities for pilgrims and ensure a smooth organization of the Mahakumbh. His visit holds both religious and cultural importance.
Special Rituals at Triveni Sangam
PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath are set to take a dip at the Triveni Sangam and perform special prayers. A large number of devotees are present for this spiritual event. The Prime Minister’s visit is seen as a reflection of his deep faith in Indian culture and spiritual traditions.
