Vantara Wildlife Center: A Home for Rescued Animals

Vantara is a major wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation center in Gujarat. It is home to more than 2,000 species and over 1.5 lakh rescued animals. The center provides top-class veterinary care and works to protect rare species. PM Modi learned about these conservation efforts and even observed an animal surgery during his visit.

  • Seals

World’s Largest Elephant Hospital

PM Modi inspected the world’s largest elephant hospital, located within Vantara. This facility includes a special hydrotherapy pool that helps elephants recover from arthritis and leg problems. He also watched parrots being released back into the wild after rehabilitation.

During his visit, PM Modi interacted with doctors, staff, and workers at the center. He appreciated their efforts in caring for rescued wildlife and ensuring their well-being.
