Babar Azam Slips, Kohli and Jaiswal Climb in ICC Test Rankings

In the latest ICC Test rankings, England’s Joe Root remains at number 1. New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is in second place, and fellow Kiwi Daryl Mitchell holds the third spot. England’s Harry Brook has moved up three places to now be ranked fourth. However, Pakistan’s Babar Azam has dropped in the rankings following poor performances against Bangladesh. Previously ranked third, Babar is now at ninth.

Kohli and Jaiswal See Gains

Indian batsmen Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal have seen improvements in their rankings. Kohli has moved up two places to the eighth position, while Jaiswal has climbed one spot to seventh. Previously, Kohli was ranked 10th, and Jaiswal was in eighth place.

Three Indian Batsmen in Top-10

The top-10 ICC Test rankings now feature three Indian batsmen: Virat Kohli at eighth, Yashasvi Jaiswal at seventh, and Rohit Sharma at sixth.

Mushfiqur Rahim Makes a Move

Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim, who scored 191 runs against Pakistan, has gained in the rankings. He has moved up to 17th place from 25th, making a jump of seven positions.
